Missionary-in-Residence Program
The Missionary-in-Residence program at Union University provides temporary housing for 海角乱伦社区 international missionary personnel on stateside assignment. The purpose of providing this housing is to meet the needs of the missionary family while providing awareness and education concerning the work of God around the world for members of the University and surrounding church communities.
Becoming a Missionary-in-Residence
Selection for the Missionary-in-Residence Program at Union as well as specific agreements between the University and missionary personnel are decided by the Office of University Ministries. Additional details about the MIR program (including expectations, application requirements, and university provisions) are provided in the Program Overview document below. Hosting a Missionary-in-Residence
If your church or association is interested in hosting an MIR, please contact us at universityministries@uu.edu
Please keep in mind that MIRs do not receive reimbursement for travel or other expenses related to their speaking engagements. Therefore, the host church or association is responsible for travel expense reimbursement and is also encouraged to consider the possibility of a love offering/honorarium.
